I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Dotty's Story...

Dotty is an adorable young chihuahua mix. SHe is shy at first but warms up nicely. She is VERY sweet. Definitely a lap dog. Dotty is crate trained and can sit for a treat. She gets along well with other dogs. She is fine with cats. She is a wonderful little girl looking for a loving home. Over her time with us, Dotty has learned to be pretty social (though submissive) even with strangers. An enormous improvement over the tiny girl who hid when she first arrived. She has frequented many adoption events and does great in public places. Dotty is one of our *Give us Liberty* specials and her adoption fee is half off at $75

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dotty, a Tacoma Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Tacoma, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Tacoma.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tacoma already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tacoma breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tacoma paves the way for another one to be saved.
