Mia is a 10 year old, 20 lb Jack Russell Terrier mix. Please don’t tell her that she’s 10 years old because she never got the memo. She loves going on walks, playing with her tennis ball, and doing sprints across the room when she’s happy to see you. Although she would be just as happy spending the day cuddling on the couch with you. She is bursting with love for all her people and would want nothing more than to just be near you. It would be impossible to feel alone or unloved with this girl in your life.
Mia was unfortunately surrendered by her owners due to financial hardships. She had some medical complications not long after, but has now made a miraculous recovery. Her life has been a little rocky up until now so she can be somewhat apprehensive of new things. But she’s strong and quickly realizes that she’s safe.
She currently lives happily with two cats in her foster home, but finds small children a little overwhelming and would be more comfortable with ages 8+ Mia is house trained, knows basic commands, has many years ahead of her, and would make a wonderful addition to a loving home.
If you are interested in Mia please first fill out the online adoption application at www.greatpets.org. Mia's $100 adoption donation includes her spay surgery, vet exam, dental, blood work, vaccinations, fecal, flea treatment and microchip.
