Spot's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Spot's Story...
Little Spot was surrendered to NCCR on 3/31/17 when his owner moved and was unable to take him along. He is a 7 year old male Chihuahua, and he only weighs about 6 pounds. This friendly, pocket-sized guy would likely prefer a quiet home where he can relax. Spot is currently in foster care, an appointment will have to be made to meet him!

If you think you might be interested in adopting, your first step should be to complete an adoption application. Send an email request to adoptions@caninerescue.org or call us at 716/326-PAWS for an application or if you are on the website (caninerescue.org), the application is below. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spot, a Westfield Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Westfield, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Westfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
