Didi's Story...
Hey there! I'm Didi and I'm hanging out at DCACC! I think life is just wonderful! I think sunshine is wonderful! I think watching the grass grow is wonderful! I think other dogs are wonderful! And above all, I think having a human of my very own would be wonderful!
I had one, once, but they had an older dog that thought I was annoying and they had to let me go. I remember how sad they were, and it made me triple-determined to make sure I would make my next human happy ALL THE TIME. This is an important job I need to do, but I can't do it without your help. If you think I might be the dog for you hen come on by the shelter today for a visit! If not maybe you could share me if everyone you know! See, my family might be out there right now searching for a dog to make them happy, and not even know I exist! You can find out more about me by visiting www.dupageco.org/animalcontrol for more details or calling 630-407-2800 and talking to the wonderful people that are taking care of me!. I hope to see you soon!
Love,
Didi

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Didi, a Wheaton Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Wheaton, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Wheaton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wheaton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wheaton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wheaton paves the way for another one to be saved.
