Holton is approximately 2 years old. He came to us from a shelter in Detroit as an urgent medical needs dog. He came to us extremely underweight and his paws were raw and burnt from frostbite. He is now healthy and ready for the right home. He is crate trained, although he prefers not to be in one and house trained. He loves kids of all ages, but being in a home with a little older kids that are dog savvy would be best, He would benefit from continued training and a fenced yard as we are sure his early years were spent crated without a lot of interaction. He is happy and funny.
Preadoption applications can be filled out online at luvnpupz.org It takes up to 14 days to process an application and Holton would be best in a foster to adopt as we would prefer a 30 day trial wherever he goes to ensure the best placement for him.
