Facts about Casey

  • Breed: Pit Bull Terrier/Mixed Breed (Medium) Mix
  • Color: White - With Black
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Male
We rescued Casey shortly after we received a call that he was in danger of being euthanized. His former owner found out her new apartment was not going to allow him there and according to her she thought he might actually be better off dead than without her. Lucky for Casey we were able to convince her that this wasn't the case and now he is safe with us. Sadly Casey's owner hadn't even realized that he was deaf.

Our precious 5 year old boy has the biggest heart. He enjoys leisurely walks, playing fetch, and last but not least cuddling up on the couch with his people. Casey absolutely adores the company of other doggies. Casey is deaf but is quickly learning hand signals - he's eager to please and his hearing impairment doesn't seem to slow him down at all. He's a great dog with a huge heart and he's just busy loving life now that he's safe

About Redemption Rescues

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a tax exempt 501c3 nonprofit organization. We are a New York based dog rescue, specializing in Pitbulls. Our purpose is to rescue, rehabilitate, train and adopt out unwanted and abandoned animals. We are volunteer and foster based, relying solely on the generosity of public donations to aid in the exorbitant costs of rescuing a dog from start to finish. We also rely on the goodness of our foster heroes to house our rescues while we find their furever homes.

Come Meet Our Pets...

While we don't have a physical location we do have adoption events and when someone is interested in one of our dogs we are very accommodating in arranging meet and greets.

Our Adoption Process...

We have an application that the potential adopter or foster fills out on our website. Once this is submitted myself or my partner reach out and discuss potential matches. We do home checks and reference checks and we also provide on-boarding training for almost all of our dogs as there are cases where it is not necessary. Our adoption fees are $250 for dogs over 1 years old and $300 for dogs under 1. We waive fees in some cases of senior dogs or special needs dogs or dogs that need additional training. In those cases we require the adoption fee go towards continued training. Our dogs are fully vetted and all medical issues are addressed prior to adoption.
