MEET ZOOEY.....4 lbs of adorableness -- a "pocket pooch" extraordinaire. Not a typical LHH dog, but she needed our help...and there are SO MANY out there!! This little 1 yr old, fawn colored, applehead cherub is living with a pack of dogs of every size -- including a Saint Bernard -- and is completely holding her own!! This fearless little pup was found wandering on a major thoroughfare...in the hot sun, no less....and was picked up by two sisters who found their way to our volunteer. Zooey is understandably shy of strangers, but give her a second or two and she likes nothing more than to be carried around wherever your travels take you. One hand will do it, she is that small! Good with other dogs, probably best with adults, never been tested with cats. She is not terribly needy but does love her people, so another dog or someone home with her would be best....or she is a perfect candidate for spending the day at work with you! Still needs a little training but she is very smart and aims to please. All she needs is to be someone's precious little princess - maybe yours? Our website is updated daily. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID tag! Thanks for thinking rescue and adoption!!
