Dakota's Story...
Howdy, I’m Dakota! I’m a 10-month old, female, 40lb, long haired Boxer mix ready for my forever! I’m extremely well behaved, house broken and fantastic with dogs AND cats! I’m also deaf, but that doesn’t keep me from being loved or giving love! I don’t startle easily, but I do take about 10-minutes to warm up to new people, and sometimes I will bark at them. But once I’m done sitting and staring at you, I will give you amazing kisses and I’m totally good with following hand signals! However, since I can’t hear I will need a fenced in yard. Just so you know my favorite thing in the whole wide world, other than giving kisses, is WATER and MUD! I may be a lady, but I’m from the country so I know how to party!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dakota, a Sugar Grove Boxer/Bulldog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Bulldog for sale in Sugar Grove, or seeking a Boxer/Bulldog puppy from a breeder in Sugar Grove.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sugar Grove already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sugar Grove breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Bulldog breeders who help with Boxer/Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sugar Grove paves the way for another one to be saved.
