Penny is a 2 year old jack Russell. She's great with people- Penny is a typical JRT and is HIGH energy. Loves being outside and would greatly enjoy a fenced yard (she had an invisible fence at her previous residence and was 100% fine with that). She did nip at a child (5 years old ) during extremely crazy/hyper/excited play, but it doesn't seem to be aggressive- definitely more playful in nature. She would still likely do best with older kids given her breed. Doesn't show any food aggression toward people at all (loves to scavenge people food). Wants to play all day and then cuddle all evening. At her foster home, she has a 6 foot wood privacy fence and is crated in a plastic crate while her foster is gone. Best with a family who understands the jack Russell breed.

This dog will at our Adoption Day at the Petco in Apple Valley on Saturday from 11-3 looking for a home!
Last Hope, Inc. is an all volunteer, foster based, no kill rescue! You can see almost all of our dogs on Saturdays from 11-3 at the following locations: Apple Valley Petco on 42 & Cedar and at the Lakeville Petsmart.
Policies: You do not have to have a fence to adopt a dog from us, but some dogs will require a fence or acres to play. Also, Since preschoolers are more likely to be bit, we do not place dogs in homes where children under the age of 4 are present unless the family is very dog savvy and the children have had previous exposure to dogs of the type and size being considered.
The Adoption Fee is not enough to cover the vet bills. Sales tax of almost 7.25% is also included in the adoption fee that you see. Please consider donating to Last Hope to help us save these animals!
