Belle's Story...
Belle and her siblings were found in New Mexico. They are our "Beauty and the Beast litter" The wonderful rescue in NM was able to get them into a safe foster home instead of living on the streets. Once they were older and healthy enough they traveled to CO to find their forever homes. They are now in Colorado and have started the search! These babies are believed to be Border Collie mixes since the dad was clearly a mutt (picture attached) and mom seemed to be aa purebred border collie, but cannot guarantee that. These puppies are big and we believe they will be about 45-65lbs when full grown. They are the fluffiest, cutest puppies in the world.

These puppies are all normal, loving puppies. Since they are so young, a lot of their personality depends on how they are trained and raised from here on out. That being said, they are loving, snuggly, and a little needy (just like normal puppies!). They are learning the lay of the land in their foster homes and seem to be doing well. They get along with other dogs and people very well. They are sweet, and even tempered.

We would love to see them go to families who have lots of time to spend with them and can really work on socializing and training them, so their good temperaments continue in the right direction. These babies deserve the best loving homes.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Belle, a Boulder Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Boulder, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Boulder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boulder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boulder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boulder paves the way for another one to be saved.
