Meet Bananas, a beautiful tabby who was rescued in Queens after wandering into a shop injured and apparently seeking help. He was emaciated and both his back paws were ripped and bleeding, and yet he was friendly and approached any one who called to him. The owners of the shop took him in and brought him to a vet where he got all taken care of. He is extremely friendly and easy going and remained calm and patient throughout the vet treatments. He has since been living in the shop office but is ready for and deserving of a warm and loving new home!
Now Bananas loves to sit by the window and watch the cars go by and nap atop cardboard boxes. He is very well behaved and seems generally grateful for his temporary home. He doesn’t pay much attention to the various toys he has been given but does use one particular scratching toy. He will flip on his back for belly rubs and a little play but really loves the head scratching, sometimes for hours on end!
Bananas is around 3 years old, healthy, up to date on shots/vaccines, and neutered. If you would like more information about this handsome kitty or want to set up a play date, please contact Belinda at firstname.lastname@example.org
