Langford's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Langford's Story...
Langford was rescued from a local animal control. He is 4-5 years old. He was found as a stray. Langford came to us heartworm positive. He has been treated and is on his way to recovery using the slow kill process. Langford is your typical laid back Coonhound. He is looking for that comfy spot on the couch or to join his humans in the shade, on the front porch. He gets along well with other dogs. He loves meeting new people. He has such a great personality that he is ready to share! Langford is in foster and working on crate training, he does well on a leash. Potential adopters will be able to speak with his foster mom and dad.
He is neutered and UTD on all required vaccinations. He is microchipped, and on a heartworm and flea preventative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Langford, a Portland Redbone Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Redbone Coonhound for sale in Portland, or seeking a Redbone Coonhound dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Redbone Coonhound breeders who help with Redbone Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
