Elaine's Story...
Welcome Elaine. She is a medium sized Smooth Coated Border Collie/Lab mix. She is 1 year old. This dog is a smart dog. She is active and fun but not over the top. She has an old injury and if she is overworked she limps on her leg. The vet has checked her and she does not need a surgery but you just need to keep an eye so she doesn’t over exercise. She will be fun with an active family but is also a very cuddly dog. She is great with other dogs and all people. This breed is gentle and sweet and will do well in learning tricks. We would like someone familiar with the Border collie breed or working breed. A fenced yard would be best for her. She is healthy, up on shots, spayed and ready for her forever home. Her adoption fee is 170 and transport is 185. She is available on the East or the West Coast. Contact me for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elaine, a Pluckemin Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Pluckemin, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Pluckemin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pluckemin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pluckemin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pluckemin paves the way for another one to be saved.
