My name is Carl. I’m an energetic, loving, 6 month old blue pit bull puppy looking for my forever home. My foster family took me in after I was found wandering around looking for companions. And boy, did I ever find companions! I love to play with my foster brother and sister. They are both young, medium to large breed dogs. I get along with young, large dogs better because I’m posed to be a big boy (most fosters think I’ll be about 60-70 lbs) and sometimes I just like to play hard! Older dogs and small dogs may find me a bit much! My foster mom and dad call me a “velcro” puppy because I always stay close to my family. They can let me run free in the yard and know that I’m never going to leave my foster brother and sister’s side! Because of that, they really want to see me in a home with other dogs. I have learned a lot since I’ve come to live with my foster family. I know to how to sit, come and “do my business” outside (I’m potty trained)! I also like to wait until I’m told to eat my food and will “load up” and get in my crate on command. I like to stay in my crate during the day when my foster mom and dad are at work. My only vice is how I like to try to jump on the couch before I’m given permission to. I can’t help it! I love to be close to my family! I love to snuggle, give kisses and make my foster family happy. I get sad when I get in trouble, so if you must yell at me, please love on me after so I know you still love me. I am also really good with kids! I play with them all of the time when I go to the ball fields. I love to go on adventures and my foster parents tell me that I’m great on a leash! If you are looking for a loving addition to your family, I’d love to have a meet and greet so I can show you what a good boy I really am!You are are interested in this animals, please, fill out an adoption application and we will be in touch.

Our Adoption Process...

Found an animal on our site and want to meet them or find out more about them? Fill out the adoption questionnaire located below and submit to us. Once we have reviewed/approved your application, we will provide you with the foster contact information so that you can find out more and arrange a “meet and greet”. All of our animals are located in foster homes throughout the Triangle area.

When going to a “meet and greet”, please make sure you take any family members and other pets (if at all possible) to observe their interactions. This can make introduction into the new home easier for the animals and for you.

The animal’s foster parent will ultimately make a recommendation to the organization regarding the permanent placement of the animal. Once an adoption decision has been made by both parties, we ask for an adoption fee to help us cover spay/neutering, shots, medical treatment, food and supplies – this amount only partially cover the cost of expenses and allows us to help as many animals as possible!

What if the adoption doesn’t work out? We have a lifetime return policy on our animals as we don’t want to see them turned back into a shelter.
