My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

6 year old Bear Bear has found herself homeless through no fault of her own - - - - her owner recently passed away. Bear Bear's littermate and best friend, Banjo is also looking for a new home. BearBear is housebroken, crate trained, spayed, vaccinated against distemper/parvo and rabies, tested heartworm negative - and is on preventative. She is currently sporting her "summer hairdo" - having had her coat shaved for the season (her previous owners preference - not necessary) - and it has grown out a little. If you would like to offer Bear Bear (and maybe Banjo, too?) a new home, please submit an application which you can find on our website (www.almostheaven-golden-retriever-rescue.org). Emailing it will get the fastest response. We had hoped to adopt these two lifelong companions (Banjo and Bear Bear) to the same home, but they will be fine if adopted into a home separately. BearBear does fine with human companionship, though another dog in the home would be a plus.
