Hello! My name is Casper.

I am a Romeo of a guy, I'm a lover and very sweet! Once you look into my eyes..I'll have you hooked! I'm looking for someone to have and to hold for the rest of my days!  Let me tell you a little about myself. Well, I love cuddling and following you around the house.  It may take me a little bit of time to warm up to you, but my heart is very big despite my small size and once I do like you...I'd like to keep you. So I'm looking for a long term forever! I like to lick your hands and nibble lovingly, I mean I gotta taste and see if you are my type of person!

My background: I came from Texas with my 3 other siblings. Our human Momma passed away and things were pretty scary there in TX for awhile. I encountered some dark places and not so nice humans. However, right now I am safe with my foster family and I am learning that not all humans are bad. I like women especially, men seem to make me a little more hesitant but I've met a few that are ok.  I'm sure if one of them loved me, I'd give him a shot and forgive him for not being a girl. I've never met a kid as far as my Foster Mom knows, so she's not sure how I will like them. But she thinks that with time and patience (after I sniff them and stuff) as long as the kid is quiet and gentle with me I could be just fine. My foster mom has plans for me to meet some kids, so I'll let you know how that goes.

Almost everything about being someone's pet is new to me. So if you've got the time, I'm looking to learn. I have learned to go potty on potty pads in the house already, but the outside still is a scary place for me. So whoever my new humans are, they will need a lot of patience with me to realize how far I have come from my old life, and how far i still have and want to go. I want to learn, and I learn fast! I just need some time and reassurance that being outside is okay, and even enjoyable sometimes. Also, I'm a boy and sometimes if I get too excited, or scared I will dribble some pee. My Foster Mommy says she has heard of something called a "belly band" that may help me with that.

I'm not sure about big dogs, they kinda scare me, but dogs close to my size are ok, and I am very playful!  I'm very inquisitive about kitty cats! if I see one I will bark and get very excited because I want to go sniff them and try to play with them. My Foster Mommy tells me that kitties don't want to play with me, but have they met me?! I love playing... so I still want to try. I do bark at them if I am in my crate and they walk by because I can't go sniff and play with them.

I'm very close to my brother Chewy, we have the same foster Mom. He's looking to get adopted too. Chewy thinks that he is my shadow, he watches me and see's that new things are okay if I decide that they are. If you are looking for two dogs, we may just be what you are looking for!  We sleep together at night in our crate, comfort each other and keep each other company while the humans are away. I would love to stay with my brother, we've been through a lot together!  But if you only want one of us..I get it.

I hope to meet you soon!
