My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Digger is a 2-3 year old, tricolor male beagle mix. He weighs approx. 42 lbs. He came from a no-kill shelter where he spent some time waiting for a home. Luckily for him, Midwest BREW stepped in. Digger is doing great at his foster home and we love him!
Digger loves people and dogs. He is very sweet and has a great personality. He plays nice with other dogs and he is very friendly and well behaved.
Digger is also good with children. He gets along with my 8 year old son here at home. They are good friends already and they play together everyday. He is good with any children of any age, but it’d be best if he went to a home with older kids due his size. He tends to jump on people, so small children are easily knocked over even if he doesn't intend to.
Digger likes car rides. He settles in nicely and enjoys the ride.
Digger is house trained and crate trained. He can stay in a crate and does not fuss much but it’s not his favorite place. His ideal new home would be with a person/family that can spend quality time with him.
Digger’s most favorite thing to do is to go on long walks with me and sniff around! Normally he is not a puller and he walks nice on a leash, except when he gets a whiff of a pesky critter. He’s a beagle after all!
We are amazed at how quickly he has settled in in our house and how much he enjoys life. He is a great dog and we love his personality!
