Akali's Story...
Akali is not only gorgeous, but super soft and snuggly. A definite lap cat. She likes to trill when she gets excited playing, and purrs when held like a baby. While she loves plastic jingle balls, she goes absolutely bonkers for laser pointers!
Akali is a medium haired Tortie. She and her sisters, Naomi, and Kara are around 12 weeks old. They are good with other cats and easily adjusting to the dogs in foster care. These were the easiest kittens ever to photograph. They have great eye contact. Very unusual for a cat. For more information contact Elizabeth:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Akali, a North Wilkesboro Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in North Wilkesboro, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in North Wilkesboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Wilkesboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Wilkesboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Wilkesboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
