Trixie's Story...
Do you consider laying under a warm comfy blanket with the person you love to be your favorite pastime? Then we have something in common! My name is Trixie and I am a 2 yr old, 12 pound Chihuahua mix. I adore people and can not wait to make you mine! I am a social girl, but with no history and my small size dog savvy children 12 and up would be best, though I would be fine with younger supervised visiting children. I was fine with the cats I met here and would most likely be fine with another dog. I am just the sweetest girl and I can not wait for you to be mine!

Adoption fee-$175 plus $10.99 to register microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trixie, a Springfield Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Springfield, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Springfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Springfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Springfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Springfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
