Hi there, my name is Charlie! I am only 9 months old. Aren't I handsome guy? I have gorgeous orange tabby coloring with some white markings. I have soft, clean, shorthaired fur and a heart of gold. I have a sweet, kind-hearted, loving personality, with a fun, playful side. I love toys and I get along great with other cats. I like to be petted and scratched, too. I am a talkative little boy and will let you know that I want something, like more treats please. My soft nature makes me a bit shy around strangers, so, if you will be patient with me and give me some extra time to adjust, I will cuddle with you and love you right back! Petco, 29335 Orchard Lake Rd, Farmington Hills (just south of 13 Mile Rd). From 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., come meet adoptable cats and kittens on the 1st and 3rd Saturday each month (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event).

Saturday, November 25: Adoption Event at
PetPeople, 6520 Telegraph Rd, Bloomfield Hills. From 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., come meet adoptable cats and kittens on the 4th Saturday of each month (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event).

Saturday, December 2 – Pet Photos with Santa: Bring your pets for a photo session with Santa Paws at
Petco, 29335 Orchard Lake Rd, Farmington Hills (just south of 13 Mile Rd), between 1 and 4 p.m. All proceeds benefit the homeless pets of Paws for Life.
Santa Paws event dates for 2017: December 2, December 9 and December 16.
Adoption Process: Complete the application at
www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
