I came into the shelter injured and in shock! I was attacked by 2 large dogs that used me as their tug toy. The first week was the roughest for me and didn't know if I had the strength to make it. The vet staff kept a close eye on me and took great care of me. On day 5 the vet staff named me Rhonda because they said I was a fighter. I spent the next 5 months in the vet room being treated daily. And during that 5 months I was put under anesthesia 90 plus times for changes and reconstructive surgeries. Today I am healed and ready to find my forever home. If you are interested in giving me a forever home please stop by the shelter and fill out an application for me.
Adoption fee includes: spay/neuter surgery, combo test (neg), multi-vaccine, micro-chipping, worming, and Capstar for fleas. We work with approved rescues too. If the cat has not had it's surgery yet, it will be done on the next available surgery date after adoption/deposit is completed on the animal. Normal cat adoption fee is $60.00 for cats and kittens 6 months and older unless sponsored it is less. Kittens less than 6 months are $70. Highly adoptable cats maybe slightly more to help offset the price reduction on some lesser adoptable cats. Cats/kittens with more than normal medical cost may have a higher adoption fee. If you will be traveling to adopt, check to make sure the animal is available and has already had it's surgery so it is ready to travel.
