Meet Alyx, the friendliest boy we’ve meet in a long time! Alyx makes a point of greeting every visitor at the door and then seeks petting, ASAP. His shake down is impressive! He clearly watched one or two YouTube videos on “How to get your way, politely.“ Alyx isn’t a fan of dogs or other cats mainly because he wants ALL the attention for himself. So, only single-cat-household folks need apply. Alyx loves his "only cat" life, but will enjoy it so much more when he's finally home. Shelter life isn’t his cup of tea—despite the excellent room service and constant attention from his wonderful visitors. He just wants to be in his own digs and who can blame him?
Alyx's ideal new home is with a cat fan or family who is pretty cat savvy and knows a thing or two about feline preferences. Alyx likes people a lot and once he's comfortable, he's your best pal. He is an indoor-only kitty, though a catio with sun shade would be a great option for him if you have it! Alyx will also really enjoy a tall cat tree or shelf near a window where he can safely view any outdoor activities and relax in available sun puddles. Play time combined with loving, gentle petting will be rewarded by rumbly purrs and body rubs.
