Hi, my name is Gizmo! I'm two-years-old and I love to play! Especially with a shoelace that my foster drags across the floor for me. The laser pointer?  I love it!  One day I'll catch that little red dot. I really like being around people, and often start purring just because a friend walked into the room! I like to be pet and cuddled too, and there's nothing that makes me purr louder than curling up by my foster's feet at night, but during the day I'd rather sleep across the room from someone than in their lap. Everybody needs personal space sometimes! I love my furry foster brother (he's the white cat in the pictures) and we play all the time, but I will need a slow introduction in order to live with another cat - don't worry, my foster can tell you the tricks and tips to help me adjust to another kitty.  I would do best in a home with people who can play with me every day to help me channel all my energy into fun. Apply now to meet me!

About Twin Cities Pet Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.

Our Adoption Process...

All adopters complete an adoption application. If approved, we arrange a meet and greet. Cats and small animals can be adopted and go home at the time of the meet and greet after the adoption agreement is complete and adoption fee collected (which is variable based on animal type, etc). For dogs, we complete home visits and then finalize the adoption.
