May's Story...
Please meet May. She is a 2 year old Korean dog breed called Jindo. She delivered 8 puppies about 4 months ago during the winter. She dug the ground and delivered her puppies. While she was gone to get food, rescuers rescued only 3 puppies without knowing there was 5 more in the hole. The five dogs did not make it... May and her three puppies are at the shelter now together. May has stronger bond with her puppies than other dogs would have with their puppies due to what they all went through together to survive. May weighs about 40 pounds. She will be spayed and vaccinated before her adoption finalizes.

*All of our dogs are in Korea, waiting to be adopted. We will not bring them until we secure a permanent home. Please inquire at the link below:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

May, a Ft Collins Jindo dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jindo for sale in Ft Collins, or seeking a Jindo dog from a breeder in Ft Collins.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ft Collins already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ft Collins breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jindo breeders who help with Jindo rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ft Collins paves the way for another one to be saved.
