Geronimo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Geronimo's Story...
Geronimo is a big ol goof ball of a puppy that gets along pretty well with other dogs, likes to chase cats (and chickens) and just generally wants to be a big ol goofy puppy. He loves people and is extremely responsive and motivated by food...he loves the food and will work hard at learning knowing there's a treat involved at the end. He came into rescue with cherry eye in both eyes, but has since had his surgery to correct that and is ready for his new home! He is pretty great on walks and hikes and likes to ride in the car. He still has a lot of learning to do, but is ready, willing and able and just needs the right family to show him the way.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Geronimo, a San Diego Great Dane/Cane Corso puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane/Cane Corso for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Great Dane/Cane Corso puppy from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane/Cane Corso breeders who help with Great Dane/Cane Corso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
