BAMBI (video)'s Story...
Hello! My name is Bambi. I'm a 3-year-old female Miniature Schnauzer/Poodle mix. I weigh approximately 11 pounds. I'm one of the most adorable, sweetest little pups you'll ever meet! Some of my friends think I look like a Koala, and others have likened me to a mouse. Either way, I'm extremely cute! Don't you agree?

Here's my story. I used to have a family, but in mid April, they decided they no longer wanted to care for me and turned me into the South LA pound. Isn't that awful? I don't know how someone could just abandon a dog like that. I always thought I was a member of the family! When I was brought to the shelter, the vet noticed that I wasn't putting weight on my right hind leg. After some x-rays were taken, it was determined that I had a fractured femur. From the looks of the x-rays, it appeared to be an old injury. Can you imagine not getting vet care for your injured pet? Horrible! So there I was, in the medical ward, hobbling around on my 3 good legs. I wasn't sure what my future held and I was unsure if I would ever see my family again.

Lo and behold, about 5 weeks later, CageFree stopped by the shelter looking for dogs to welcome into their rescue. Once they saw me, they fell in love! They decided right then and there to bring me to their private vet for an evaluation and surgery and work on finding me a fabulous forever home. On May 2nd, I finally got the surgery on my leg that I so desperately needed. I will have to be on activity restriction for a while to ensure that my leg heals properly, but once I complete my recovery, I'll be just like any other active dog. I'll be able to walk, run, jump and play to my little heart's content.

Now I'm waiting patiently for my new family to come and adopt me. Maybe you could be the one? I'm such a good girl, I never even bark. I'm cuddly, soft and sweet. Trust me, you don't want to pass me up! I'm a real catch! If you are interested in meeting me to get to know me better, please don't hesitate to contact CageFree and arrange a visit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BAMBI (video), a Los Angeles Miniature Schnauzer/Miniature Poodle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Schnauzer/Miniature Poodle for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Miniature Schnauzer/Miniature Poodle dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Schnauzer/Miniature Poodle breeders who help with Miniature Schnauzer/Miniature Poodle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
