ALDO (video)'s Story...
Hey there! My name is Aldo. I'm an 8-year-old neutered male Cairn Terrier/Poodle mix. I weigh about 17 pounds. I'm as cute as they come, with a winning personality to match! Don't let my age fool you. I still have a lot of spunk left in me! Not only am I neutered, I'm also microchipped and current on my vaccines. I'm all ready to move into my forever home.

I'm happy, sweet and loving. I get along with everyone I meet - humans and canines alike. There are no strangers in my book, just friends I've yet to meet!

I was brought into the South LA shelter as a stray, so not much is known about my past. When I arrived at the shelter, the vet noticed I was missing hair on my rear end and hind legs. I was such a loving guy that the volunteers took notice of me and my condition and contacted CageFree right away. The next thing I knew, I was in the car headed over to the rescue facility. My new friends sent me to their private vet to have my skin examined. It was determined that the hair loss is most likely the result of a flea allergy from my days living on the streets. They started me on allergy medication that should help my hair grow in nicely. If you adopt me, you'll want to keep me on a flea preventative so this doesn't happen again in the future.

CageFree has made it their mission to find me a forever home and to make sure I never spend another cold and lonely night wandering the streets. Now I'm here making new friends, getting lots of love and settling in. I truly cannot wait to meet my new family. If you think I'm the dog you've been looking for, please contact CageFree and arrange a visit. I'm excited to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ALDO (video), a Los Angeles Cairn Terrier/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Cairn Terrier/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Cairn Terrier/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
