My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***NEW**
Howdy!!! I am 4 year old Macy. Don't you just love my adorable face? I really do have that hound dog look, don't I? I used to be a Finnish Champion! That's right, a real champion show beagle! I am very gentle and have the cutest, softest paws. Because I was a show dog, I know how to stand so politely when someone is looking at my paws or ears or coat. That makes my foster mom happy when it's bath time and the vet techs say I'm the best! I sleep in my house at night and when I get up, I love to run up to my foster mom and stretch my legs by reaching up to give her little beagle kisses on her nose. I have four friends at my foster home - three other doggies and a cat; I really love them all and we get along great.

I can be as playful as a puppy and my foster mom always laughs when I act silly and roll around and scamper. I need lots of toys around to keep me entertained (otherwise I might get bored and find somethin' to chew on that I shouldn't). I like to squeak those fuzzy toys and chew on the big bones my foster mom gives me. I love food (just like all beagles...Arrooo!!!) and don't like to share, so I eat all my meals in the privacy of my house. After I was done being a champion, I had some puppies, but just like happens to some lady people, I got allergies when I was pregnant, so I have a special food, some allergy medicine, and a shampoo that makes my coat so nice and clean and helps me when I get kinda itchy. I really am one pretty little gal, and I do hope you might have an interest in me. I'm waiting to find my forever home. AZBR has decided that it would be really great if I could find a home that did not have that much grass. I am having terrible allergies from the grass. So, maybe you don't have a yard full of grass, and that would be just what I need!!
