My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Una #5782 is a beautiful 2-year-old Shepherd mix. She was an LCAR mom who came to us with Heartworms. She just finished treatment and is ready to settle into her forever home. Una is initially very shy and it will take time and trust before she opens up. Once she does, she is very playful, likes to run with other dogs and get love from her humans. The outdoors, toys and treats are a few of her favorite things. She is crate trained and walks well on a leash. While she will need additional training, she is super smart and will undoubtedly pick up things quickly. Una's adopters should understand and respect her trust issues and that it will take time. She is a very loyal dog, but possibly had a rough past and anyone who is willing to work with her will have a wonderful companion. She weighs 65 pounds and is full grown. This pup is microchipped. We believe you can always teach an ‘old’ dog new tricks so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship.
