Cosmos's Story...
What’s not to love! Cosmo is a 6 month old, 12 lb. male Schnauzer/Norwich brindle wire hair terrier. This pup has an amazing friendly and outgoing personality. He loves people and other dogs. He is good with kids age 4 and up. Cosmo walks great on a leash and is a fast learner. He loves to play with tug toys and chase the ball. He is medium energy and is not suited for an apartment. When play time is done he loves to snuggle next to you for a puppy nap. He rides good in the cars and is doing great with his house training. He sleeps through the night and knows how to use a dog door.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cosmos, a Winters Cairn Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Winters, or seeking a Cairn Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) puppy from a breeder in Winters.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winters already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winters breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Cairn Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winters paves the way for another one to be saved.
