Orchid's Story...
Hi my name is Orchid! I'm told I'm a gorgeous tiger striped tabby little girl. I am going to be 8 weeks old on May 20th and will be ready for my new home then. I'm very sweet, super friendly, and cuddly and love playing with my toys. My mother was surrendered because she was no longer wanted which doesn't make sense because my mom is also very sweet and friendly. I'm being fostered in Gilberts, Illinois with my mom Olive, and my siblings Indigo and Periwinkle. Gilberts is where you would go to meet me. I can go to my forever home on May 20th when I turn 8 weeks old. My rescue is taking applications for me now, and you can meet me before May 20th. if you love me you can adopt me then pick me up on May 20th.

To meet this sweet kitty, an approved adoption application needs to be submitted and approved. You can find find the adoption application by going to our website at, and clicking on the forms tab. We do not have a physical building so there are no viewing hours, thus the reason for the application needs to be submitted prior to making an appointment for a meet and greet with this adorable kitten. If you see this this post, this kitty is available for adoption so there is no need to email us asking about availability. We update regularly

Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but is required prior to making arrangements for a meet and greet as all of our animals are cared for in homes. We can't schedule meet and greets until the application is submitted and approved. We don't have a building so there are no viewing hours. All of our animals are cared for in foster homes by wonderful families who volunteer their time to save these precious souls. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Orchid, a Naperville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Naperville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Naperville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naperville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naperville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naperville paves the way for another one to be saved.
