The Last Resort saved Ryku and his sister from a shelter in GA that had caught on fire and burned down. They became displaced and we became their 'last resort'.
But how lucky are we? This stunning boy is Ryku! He's quite a spunky guy, just as you might expect! He is 5 months old and weighs 30 pounds now with HUGE paws. He is just a pup so whoever applies for him shouldn't leave him for long periods of time. Ryku loves to RUN! Ryku loves to play with other dogs and just in general. He's a very curious, entertaining puppy. Ryku can be dominant with other dogs so we would recommend a home that does not have a dominant male in the home. He is being fostered in MD so anyone looking to adopt him must be willing to travel to MD to meet them. Ryku has 2 different colored eyes - one is blue and one is brown - how cute is that?! He is highly food motivated and will sit on command now. Ryku is the silly one of the two with a goofy personality. Ryku will need an active home - maybe someone that will teach him what a leash is all about and take him hiking. He needs to stay active and guided. He is just the best ever, even for a puppy. He is so lovable and will bury his head against you and stand there to have his chest rubbed. He is super smart! A home with no small children is probably best - they still have their super sharp puppy teeth and love to nibble! This guy is stunning even as a puppy and is sure to be a looker as he matures.
