Hunter's Story...
Would you like to run? To play? To hug? To kiss? To jump? To play some more? Then you should meet Hunter. He is simply bursting with affection and energy. Hunter has a happy-go-lucky approach to life, and it’s incredibly endearing.

This guy needs an active family to keep his positive energy in check and focused. He would love to be outside romping around. He’d probably love to go on trips and to explore our beautiful state. Hunter is good with other dogs, with cats, and with kids of all ages. Because of his play style, he would need playmates who can keep up with him.

Hunter is 2-3 years old, house-trained, kennel-trained, and now fully vetted. He’s a bit of a wild man on a leash sometimes, but we suspect that with plenty of exercise and a few treats for motivation, he will learn to be your sidekick.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hunter, a Meridian Mixed Breed (Large) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mixed Breed (Large) for sale in Meridian, or seeking a Mixed Breed (Large) dog from a breeder in Meridian.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Meridian already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Meridian breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mixed Breed (Large) breeders who help with Mixed Breed (Large) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Meridian paves the way for another one to be saved.
