***5/23/17 - ADOPTION PENDING!***
Sass has recently learned how to retrieve! View Sass' video here: https://youtu.be/6N2WfsKx09Q
Meet Sass! We think Sass is a border collie mix. She is about 11 months old and weighs 30 pounds. Small dog, big personality!
Sass loves people and is sweet and affectionate with her foster family. She enjoys playing with other dogs, but can be a bit bossy and possessive of her foster mom. She is now crate trained and is doing very well with her housetraining. She knows how to 'sit' and 'down'.
She is a bit of a resource guarder with her food, which we are working on in her foster home. In the car Sass is a little uncomfortable. We believe she is worried about where she is going. She doesn't actually get car sick, just paces in her crate and gets a little drooly.
Sass has tons of potential. She is fast and smart. A great combination for a sports dog. She is food motivated and has learned how to retrieve.
This is a fairly high energy dog, so please have a plan in mind for exercising and training her if you apply to adopt her. She does settle nicely in the house and sleeps quietly through the night in her crate.
Sass' adoption fee is $225 and includes spay, vaccinations, microchip, collar and ID tag.
