Ana's Info...

Ana's Story...
"Ana" is a beautiful adult female Chocolate Labrador Retriever who was brought to the HSOV on May 3, 2017 after a Good Samaritan found her on Lake Road in the Veto Ohio area. She was accompanied by a good-looking Yellow Labrador Retriever whom we've posted under the name "Alex".

"Ana" has a chocolate brown short smooth coat, a long tail, and a classic Chocolate Labrador face with expressive brown eyes, a liver-colored nose, and long floppy ears. This lovely lady has graying around her muzzle which gives her a look of nobility. "Ana" has the wonderful disposition for which the Labrador breed is known, and she was a delight to photograph and spend time with :)

"Ana" weighs 61 lbs.

In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, "Ana" will be held for three days so that her owner will have the opportunity to reclaim her. In the event that she is not reclaimed, "Ana" will be available for adoption on May 6, 2017.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ana, a Marietta Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
