Here's what the humans have to say about me:
May 2017 update: Hannah is a beautiful young girl, at about one year and 35 lbs. She is a Shepherd mix but must have a smaller breed in there too! She was abandoned at a park and was eating out of dumpsters until she wandered up to a rescuer’s home. Smart girl, don’t you think? She is house trained, crate trained and wonderful with dogs, kids, cats and chickens. It doesn’t get much more awesome than Hannah!
Hannah has several furry foster siblings (canine and feline) and she is respectful with everyone. She loves to play fetch and is learning to come when called. She was very shy at first, a little shellshocked after transport which does happen sometimes. With loving patience on the part of her foster family, it took her just a couple days to feel comfortable, and we'll help with a gentle transition to a new forever home as well.
Hannah's foster mom tells us, "She is great with all of the dogs including giving Mabel her space. She is also great with the cat. She sniffs him when he comes over to her but never attempts to chase him. She loves Dave and follows him everywhere and he has been working on recall with her. She is a very fast runner when outside playing chase with Raven and Spencer. She loves to give Spencer kisses. She is just generally a VERY SWEET dog and just wants to be loved."

Please note, we do not have a physical facility where our dogs are housed, they are cared for in our network of wonderful foster homes throughout New England. If you find a dog you would like to meet, our expectation is that, once approved, you will travel to meet the dog in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
