Bowzer's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Bowzer's Story...
“Adorable” doesn’t even begin to cut it. You have got to meet this guy in person to understand just how truly amazing he is. Friendly and cuddly with just the right amount of spunk and pizzazz thrown in -- Bowzer’s charming personality will win you over in no time.

Bowzer was surrendered to our Rescue recently, along with his pal, Bella. The two lived in a home with two other dogs, and, well, not everyone played nicely all the time. Bella was adopted before we could blink, and now Bowzer is ready for his turn.

Bowzer is just over a year old. He is good with other dogs, though we always recommend slow introductions. He’s also good with cats and kids of all ages. Bowzer is house- and kennel-trained. He’s not a fan of learning tricks, as he prefers to decide on his own schedule and activities, thank you very much. Bowzer is a little big man -- little body, big personality.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bowzer, a Meridian Mixed Breed (Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mixed Breed (Small) for sale in Meridian, or seeking a Mixed Breed (Small) dog from a breeder in Meridian.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Meridian already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Meridian breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mixed Breed (Small) breeders who help with Mixed Breed (Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Meridian paves the way for another one to be saved.
