My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Glenda is the most loving and affectionate cat you will ever meet. She had an infection in her eyes when we got her and her third eyelid is always up now. The vet said there is nothing to be done and she is not uncomfortable, she just cannot see as well as most cats. This doesn't slow down Miss Glenda She wants to be right by your side and not miss any affection you can give her. Would be a great lap cat for someone!! She is currently in a foster home being prespoiled! Email us at info@petsandpeople.com to set up a meeting with Glenda! The foster mom affectionately calls her Violet!

This is what she says about Violet:

Violet is a special needs kitty. She has a virus that affects her
eyes and her tummy. Her eyes have to be cleaned several times a day to keep them from mattin.t. Her third eyelid is permanently damaged and is up all the time.
It cuts across part of her iris so her vision is somewhat affected. The virus has
also destroyed all of her stomach enzymes so she has a difficult time digesting food which causes her to have loose stools most of the time. The vet has said that there is a small possibility that she may overcome the virus if she is an only cat or has very little competition for lap time. But for now an enzyme is added to her food . It is not very expensvie.. We have 10 kitties and 3 dogs here in this home so a more quiet home may be all she needs.. Violet is extremely loving and will sit in your lap all day long. She is okay withsharing provided she gets her fair share. Violet is a petite lady - about 6-7 pounds and is about 5 years old. She was born with the virus.
