Lucy & Gingi's Story...
Meet Lucy and Gingi! These are two juvenile pigs (we think they might be sisters, but we're not sure). Lucy (first picture) is the smaller of the two. She is adventurous, curious, and a cuddled. She love to follow her friend Gingi around, too! Gingi (picture 2) is fun, outgoing, and also a cuddle bug. She enjoys running around making you work to catch her - but once you do, she'll nuzzle right into your hair while perched on your shoulder.

Lucy & Gingi's adoption fee is $45. For more information on adopting this bonded pair, email us at info@wmicritterhaven.org. Adopters must be at least 18 years old.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy & Gingi, a Grand Rapids Guinea Pig was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Guinea Pig for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Guinea Pig from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Guinea Pig breeders who help with Guinea Pig rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
