My name is Jack and I admit, I am pretty confused now. My human left me with Forte Animal Rescue because she is having difficulties of her own and can no longer keep me. I know she cares about me which is why she made the decision that I deserved a better home. I am pretty anxious as I figure out my new situation, but I am now living with a nice foster with some canine companions so I should feel safe soon. In fact, I’m already playing nonstop with one of my foster pals. I am really mellow and quiet once I feel secure, and enjoy napping in the sun and taking long walks. I may be a bit standoffish when we first meet, but once we get to know each other, I may shower you with a ton of kisses! I get along fine with small dogs who are not hyper and do well with feline companions. Large dogs may scare me so I have a tendency of yelling at them, but I am working on getting better with this. Before living with my human, I was in the pound so I have gone through this before and do not enjoy being homeless. If you are interested in more mature company and want me to be that companion for the rest of my life, can you contact Forte?

[Jack is about 7 years old and weighs 25 lbs.]
