My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Jack and my person left me with Forte Animal Rescue because she was having difficulties of her own and could no longer care for me properly. I am now living with some canine companions, and waiting for my new family to find me. I am mellow and quiet once I feel secure, but admit that I am a nervous little guy in unfamiliar situations. I enjoy napping in the sun and taking long walks, so if you wish to do these with me, I will be delighted! I may be a bit standoffish when we first meet, but don’t take it personally because once I figure you out, I get quite affectionate. I am pretty talkative, thanks to my Beagle-side, and yearn for constant human companionship, thanks to my Pug-side. I am very anxious with dogs larger than I, but do fine with dogs my size and cats! I am quite cute even with my quirks, so if you want to take care of me, can you contact Forte today? I would love to find my own home by holidays!

If you are interested in meeting Jack, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and fax it back to us at (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions.

[Jack is about 7 years old and weighs 25 lbs.]
