Sid's Story...
Oh SID! You are a fabulous little chicken. Sid is a year old, he's aloof typical of the breed, but his trust is earned fast with some TLC and patience, also GOOD TREATS LOL, he is definitely a foodie! Sid has the best underbite in the worled and you can tell he was not treated the best in his previous home. Sid found himself at South LA shelter because his previous family "were moving" and couldn't take him. He was matted, skinny, and full of ticks and fleas. We think he was left on a patio or small back yard. He's recovering though, he really likes being part of a pack, he enjoys a kind hand and after about 1-2 days, he opens up and wags that fabulous tail! We opted to shave Sid down due to his previous mat condition and he looks great! Sid is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, deflead and handsome! We don't know how Sid is with cats yet, nor with kids because we don't have any children. To meet Sid, please complete an application at www.gonetothedogsrescue.org/adoption-application

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sid, a Redondo Beach Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Redondo Beach, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Redondo Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Redondo Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Redondo Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Redondo Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
