My story

Meet Bello, also known as Mr. personality, a 5 month old, up to date with all shots, neutered male, Malinois / Saluki mix. Bello was found homeless on the streets of Tehran by one of Vafa Animal Shelter’s volunteers who fostered him until he was sent to the US. This young traveler has crossed the oceans in search of a loving forever home. He is one smart and energetic puppy who is still learning about life and good manners in a human world, is already house trained, knows some basic commands, loves toys, interactive and puzzle toys, loves to go on walks and hikes, and will work for food. Bello is currently in a wonderful foster home with 5 other dogs who are showing him the ropes. However He will need to continue to socialize with other well behaved dogs of different breeds, when he moves to his forever home. Sweet Bello will do best in a home with an active lifestyle, no young children, and willingness to continue with his training using reward-based positive reinforcement training methods. He is a quick learner and in the right home he will grow to be a wonder dog!
