tips's Story...
Tips is a 10 week old Lab mix.

He was dumped at an overcrowded shelter in New Mexico. We believe that half Tips and his siblings were from two different dads. We believe the mom was a lab and one dad was a Collie, which is what Tips is. It's hard to know for sure, but this is our best educated guess.

All these babies are BEYOND adorable and sweet. They love to adventure in the fosters back yard and follow each other around, like a little puppy train. They have all been around the fosters kids and her other dogs and love them both! They have been very well socialized so far. That being said, to keep them on the right track with great behavioral and socialization, their new family will need to continue the socialization and training (puppy classes are a must)! These puppies all have so much love to give. They all love to snuggle with their foster mom and siblings, and will form a puppy pile on top of their foster mom for nap time. These puppies seem to be a little lower key and more mellow than many other pups. They are for sure still puppies, but just as high strung as some puppies can be

We would love to see these puppies go to families who have lots of time to spend with a puppy, and have tons of love to give. These puppies will be 100% indoor dogs and a backyard would be awesome, but not 100% necessary. They would also love another dog to play with, but would be totally okay without one!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

tips, a Boulder Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Boulder, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Boulder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boulder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boulder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boulder paves the way for another one to be saved.
