Remie's Story...
Meet Remie! Shee is a sweet 14 wk old Hound/Lab and the baby of our momma Reyna. She is very sweet, a little on the shy side. Remie loves to play with her siblings but would much prefer hanging out in his human's lap. She likes to be held and cuddled after a nice session of play with her sisters! Remie is doing great with her potty training and crate training, but being so young, will need a loving and patient family to continue working with her. Remie and her litter mates will be available for adoption on 5/30/17! If you are interested in making Remie part of your forever home, please visit our site and fill out an app! www.barrkli.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Remie, a Valley Stream Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Valley Stream, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Valley Stream.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Valley Stream already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Valley Stream breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Valley Stream paves the way for another one to be saved.
