I Look Good in Gray!
Heineken was born about April 2, 2013 and weighs about 10 lbs. He is just cute as a button and moved right in! The notes are not very good as to why he is here other than he will pee in his crate, but only when he is alone. Other than this he is said to be house trained, but we do always like to warn with these tiny dogs need to go outside often and that they may benefit from having potty floor pads handy. There is also a note that he was bitten by another dog so he may be aggressive with dogs, but he is great here! He adores the other dogs and has never shown any signs of shyness, fear, or aggression. He is good on leash and he likes to go for car rides. He is also said to hang around you while you are outside doing your chores. Kids you ask? Well, there is a note saying he is protective in the child section of the intake form so I'm going to say no little kids. I'd been living with Heineken for a couple of weeks when I read his form and had to verify this form was for that dog. Here he's been just wonderful and I can only say good things - he's a cutie and someone is going to love him to pieces. Update: We've found Heiny to be good with kids and fine with cats. The Adoption Fee for this dog is $325.00.
Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.
Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES
We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. If a pet is still showing, it is still available for adoption.
Our primary goals here at Joyful Rescues are to re-home pets and save them from becoming homeless in the future, educate the public on pet care and spaying/neutering to control the pet overpopulation, to spay/neuter every pet before they leave us and spay/neuter as many pets, belonging to the public, as possible within our means.
