Phoenix has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and treated for any known medical needs.
Breeds are estimated.
Housetraining is not guaranteed although crate training is worked on with all residents.
PUPDATE: Phoenix has had several quills removed and currently has stitches in his face. Some were pulled directly from his eye, others up his nose, down his throat, inside of his lips, and cheeks. He has more but is recovering from that first round. His eye will be removed, he weighs about 40 lbs and is a shy but very good guy. He is learning to trust and we are anxious to have this all behind him!
Prayers or supportive thoughts for Phoenix please. He's now resting comfortably on pain medication and antibiotics. He's covered in ticks, emaciated, wormy, and badly infected. A reevaluation will be tomorrow to see if we can get a idea on if his eye can be saved. This boy was picked up astray with a couple of other dogs, all injured from porcupine quills. Please consider donating to his ongoing care. We'll post the bills as the vet charges us as we're very transparent about costs. You work hard for each penny and each penny means the world to those in our care and us as well. PayPal account is email@example.com and all donations are tax deductible!
