Bailey's Info...

I am a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Bailey's Story...
Bailey is a 2 month old Australian Shepherd mix.

We believe that Bailey is "double Merle". This means that she has two sets of the Merle gene, which can sometimes cause some hearing or sight loss. Bailey does seem to be deaf, but she can see just fine!!

Bailey is as sweet as can be, and you would never know she had any special needs. She plays with her siblings and follows her foster mom around the house just like the rest of them! Bailey is just the sweetest girl around. She loves to get belly rubs and snuggle from her foster mom, but if her foster mom is busy, she is fine hanging with her siblings and rough housing with them. Bailey would do great in most home environments as long as she gets to be mentally stimulated and gets lots of love and attention. She would do great with another dog or kids to play with, but neither are a must.

Bailey would make such a great adventure buddy for the CO mountains! Especially since she has that white coat, she wont get too hot too quickly like black dogs do.

Bailey is truly an amazing little girl, with beautiful blue eyes, and deserves nothing but the best!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a Boulder Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Boulder, or seeking a Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Boulder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boulder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boulder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boulder paves the way for another one to be saved.
