Today's the day. I just know it. Someone who loves older dogs will come take me home?
Will it be you?
Hi my name is Al and I am am 8 year old mixed breed. The shelter thinks I may have some Shep/Chow/Akita genes in me.
I don't know how I ended up at this place but boy am I nervous at the shelter. I just want to go home and be doted on with my family. I shake sometimes because I'm scared and, have some trouble seeing due to cataracts. I also have those nasty heart worms so I am praying for a rescue to notice me and help me heal.
I am a friendly guy and the ladies say I'm handsome. I play nice with other dogs, however I'm not fond of those kitty cat things. My favorite past time is basking in the sun and enjoying a yummy treat. I can be stubborn sometimes with moving around because my body aches and I am so unsure of this place. Will you save me and allow me to be the happy and loving dog that lies deep inside me?
Today has to be my day. I'm praying for my heart to be healed and filled with love. Please rescue me.
