My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Sugar (HWTH#17138A). She is a Long Hair Dachshund mix, DOB: 5/14/14. Sugar weighs 12 pounds and stands 11 inches at the shoulders. This is a wonderfully sweet girl who likes to be held and will probably want to be your lap dog and bed buddy if you so choose. Lots of love, good-quality human companionship and some amount of daily exercise will be a must for Sugar. Sugar was rescued from a hoarder in Los Angeles and arrived covered in fleas which is why she is missing a lot of her hair. The flea issue has been cleared up and her hair is returning. Sugar needs to be loved and cuddled. When she is thoroughly settled in her new Forever home, she will benefit from positive basic obedience training for leash training and the bonding process. With lots of love and kindness, Sugar should bond easily with her new owner and will make a wonderful small canine companion. She appears to be good with other dogs and is crate trained.
