My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Shep" (he does not have a true name) is about a year old; I believe he was younger than 1 when we found him. He was neutered and given shots recently in the hopes that it will make finding him a forever home easier. We cannot keep him because a large dog would not fit within our budget!
He is extremely loving and sweet. He will need a lot of exercise in his new home, as he is still young so is quite energetic. He has an issue with jumping on people, which we are in the process of trying to correct (he's doing well). He is not much of a barker unless, of course, he has pent-up energy. He prefers fetch over tug-o-war and likes chew toys when not playing with someone. He loves running around, so it would be best to have a yard or a nearby [dog] park! He is very submissive when it comes to people; I don't see him to be an alpha dog (when my dog is outside with him, he just wants to play with no shows of dominance). Thank you for reading, and I hope you give this loverboy a chance!
